just wondering how you can tell a slr from your average torana?

Model is 8VD69 or VIN starts with 8D69

Go to www.gmh-torana.com.au register and ask for a price check. Post most of the VIN (skinny plate) the engine number and the Body No. An original numbers matching V8 in good conditon would be worth around $40-50k. Originality is the key to getting to |

There are other things to go by eg, only offered with 202, 253 or 308, extra chrome on the window weather strips, vinyl trim above the door cards, tacho cluster, blackouts on lower parts of the body, front spoiler and rear bobtail, L31 engine only availab Edited by user Tuesday, 16 September 2008 9:18:50 AM(UTC)
