Hi I just brought myself a mazda e2000 95 model and yes I know its not a ford but there was no fords going as cheap as mazdas. Anyhow it's getting into the red zone after about ten minutes of driving, now the person who I brought it off said its got a cracked head or blown gasket. Its not losing any water and there is no water in oil and no oil in water and no steam cloud out the exaust. I have taken out the themostat and still no good and i have reversed flused and still no good, anybody got clues where I could look next. Can it still be a cracked head, my next guess will be water pump. Any help would be great. Regards, Leigh. Edited by user Tuesday, 2 September 2008 5:20:01 AM(UTC)

You will get bubbles in the radiator if blown head gasket, see if there is flow in the radiator if not waterpump to be replaced.

Is the electric fan turning on?
Try the heater and see if its actually hot?
If it gets an air lock in there it will get hot as the water may not be moving. May need to be bled to get air out??
Blown head gasket to water jacket should cause compre |
If its not broke it will be soon |

When does it get hot? at idle? while cruising? If it's getting hot while cruising you may have a blocked radiator, flushing it at home won't fix it, you will need to send it out and get it cleaned properly. If your water pump is working properly while hav
