Hello everyone, do you possibly know of anybody looking for a kick-butt Classic car - not a Fairmont GT but just as collectable. A genuine Basil Green Ford converted brand new Ford Capri Mk.1 in September 1971 and sold new off the BG-showroom floor to its only owner from new in January 1972. The famous BG conversion consisted of a brand new 302 cid Windsor motor, new Tremec 4-speed manual gearbox and a Falcon / Fairmont derived 9" LS-differential. This car is extremely rare as only 500 were ever built, and being manual transmission makes it even more desirable compared to the C4-based automatics. She is finished in her original paintwork of PeriPeri Red with dual bonnet side-stripes, totally Black interior (based on the GT3000). ONLY 68,000 kilometres from brand new - possibly the best original example left worldwide. Perfect in every respect this car is immaculate for her age, and is correct in every respect. PRICE AU$52,000. Please contact for photographs. Edited by user Wednesday, 10 September 2008 5:21:33 AM(UTC)
