is there a law that says a licenced mechanic doing rego checks must bye law check your car for rego if asked politely and not in my case recieve personal insults and general abuse for dareing to drive an older car

why would you cop abuse?
I dont know about other states but I would assume they are simular to NSW.
to write rego certs (Pink slips) you need ot have be a cirtified vehicle inspector to do this a pre requisit is a licenced motor mechanic.

it did happen and he is a licenced mechanic in nsw to whom do i report him ?
