Thanks Byron. Would you say the 16/6/70 one is correct for my 7/70 Monaro?
Who should I talk to about fixing a 16.7:1 box with free play in the straight ahead position, or should I take the internals out of the '68 Brougham box and fit to the '70 body? I

Dr Terry is your man for rebuild info. Warren will have a better idea than me on the correct date code, although I reckon it's maybe 2 weeks too early.

No that would still be ok, as the 16.7:1 boxes were not always that close.

Do all steer/boxs have date codes on them ? I have 4 i need to clean up also how do you tell what ratio they are is there a easy way to tell by nos
