Get on the yellow pages online and start ringing up wreckers inland, like in SW NSW or NW Victoria. You'd be surprised how good body shells are that come from inland Australia. My mate just picked up three immaculate bodies from the Armidale/Inverell area

hi all, whats the difference between 1950 and 2200 gvw. i have a 12/77 build sandman ute,made in sydney that is 1950 gvw

Hi Guys.
The only difference between the 2 Sandman specs (XX7 & XU3) is that when the vehicles left the factory, the XX7 had passenger rated tyres (same as GTS) whereas the XU3 had the normal commercial load rated tyres.

Dr Terry is correct. The XX7 option is for sedan tyres, and the vehicles payload is reduced accordingly. This was known as the 10cwt option. The XU3 uses the normal commercial tyres and was called the 14.5cwt option. I can't 100% prove it, but I believe t
