Gday
have purchaed a bonnet for my hq that is much better condition than my current one.
There is no rust
verry little filler required
Is it best to strip the bonnet of its current paint colour black
or can i just paint over the black
the new colour is a darkish blue if that makes a differance
Thanks for your time

i reckon you would be best to sand back the black topcoat but leave the primers underneath. then put a coat of light grey primer on it, sand that back smooth and paint your colour over that. Only because black is hard to paint over.
