As your involved in printing/ publishing stuff, how long does copyright on print material last for? As i have HZ & VB-K GMH parts & picture books and going to scan the pages onto disc as the books are getting a bit old and ratty etc!!!

The asked the question as after 10 years car parts can be reproduced by aftermarket manufactures.

Take a look at a Max Ellery book - its nearly all GMH service manual images. So too the Eric Blair "performance handbook" pair of books for the commodores. Now I know theyd have sought permission, but it seems

Copyright has no time limit. The holder of the copyright in this case is GM-H, as it paid employees to perform a task.

I have the same in my job, I develop resources for students, TAFE owns the copyright. If I develop in my own time I hold the copyrigh
