Just to clear up one thing, you are aware that all GTS350 sedans are actually optioned up Kingswoods? Im pretty sure you are particularly since you have researched them so much, but some of the posts make it a little unclear.

All GTS/4s are Kingswood option to GTS....which I call mock ups! At the end of the day, there is no real difference in me doing up a V8 Kingswood with GTS option and a real GTS/4. they are all mock ups... I will get these pics now and show you what I a

Theyre not really "mock-ups" as such, otherwise XU-1s, A9X, L34 and all the Brocks would be too! They are all optioned up lesser models. Only HK-HQ 1837 coupes are unique models in their own right. I understand what you mean though.

just like the famous ford phase III. it really is just a 4 door mums taxi mocked up into a wanna be race car.
the only true ford muscle is the XA rpo 83.

Not so sure about that Frank. A mate of mine had a very original RPO83 and it was the quickest and most powerful original Aussie road car I ever rode in. Also won Bathurst 2 years running which is something no other Falcon ever did.

I had an RPO83 and I can tell you they were the fastest thing on the road,i beat everything and i mean EVERYTHING i even beat a 911 porsche and he was pissed off ,but there was a downside to these cars and it was reliability ,they chewed plugs every 2/ Edited by user Monday, 6 October 2008 7:16:26 PM(UTC)

So the same enginge as a XY GTHO PH111...thats a blast,mine had a capped solid cam(factory) and yes it was a 4v big port and 8k tacho mine was built in march 1973 and the plates from rego office were SAU 090 and i still got em,also had the build sheet ,yo |
