I have a holden 202 I race on the speedway. I want to put an oil warning light and a temperature warning light in it. What do I connect to what ??

hi keith, warning light sensors just go to earth when they are activated. so you would hook your globe up to 12v on one side and then the other side to the sensor on your engine which will earth when activated and your light will turn on.

The light I have is a trailer light that has one terminal inside. I thought when I mounted it - that was the earth . So if I feed 12v to the light terminal,what do I run the wire off the sender too? Im hopeless with electrics - so appreciate the advice

hi Keith, if your light only has one terminal then that should/will be the positive and the body of your trailer light housing will be the earth. So if you put the wire (terminal) coming from your trailer light housing to positive battery +12V and if you

Or get a better light. Trailer lights are a bit crap and cheap and nasty. Get a couple of side blinker lights from a VT commodore or something. Theyre a bit better quality and would look cool on the dash.
