Where would one go to have there speedo tested
as I feel mine my be out maybe by as much as 10
kilometers and if it is out how do they go about
correcting the problem.

Got mine recalibrated recently at Ringwood Vic $66

Im in Qld I would have thought if its out it just needs correcting. What kind of place did you take you vehicle to.

A half decent GPS unit will give you a fairly accurate reading.

Correction depends on the type of car. Cable speedos can be corrected by getting an adapter made up for the speedo drive (not sure who does them) and electronic can be corrected with a Yel
