Hi im looking for some tips. etc. on how i should go about building a whole new dash and console for a Vk Exec i think the original is quite ugly i"ve seen a stainless steel one in street commodores before that looked allright but just cant seem to find anything like it again. Any help would be appreciated.

VK calais digital? i have one in my HQ. if you take all the crappy looking plastic shroud off and make a perspex with blackouts it looks ok... got a pic of it here.... http://www.fastlane.com..../topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=7943

I dont mind that but i wanna try for a modern look i just want to pretty much rip the whole dash trim and instrument cluster out and start fresh. is it possible to fit a later model into a VK?

looks like a great dash duzty.
i am going to put a different dash in mine, i have a vb sle dash, and it just dose not cut it..
will find one i like,

you can fit vl or vn vp i think even maybe vr vs but its a bit of stuffing around

i was trying to find a digital dash, displayed on a computer screen, that i could change the look of when i felt like a change.. it can be done, they have them on mp3car.com, also they have some groovy digital dashs from a couple sites in usa, all come w Edited by user Friday, 31 October 2008 5:15:13 AM(UTC)
