Have a 5L VS Stato, does the power/ economy switch only works on the transmission shift point or the main computer altering the fuel/ air ratio for leaner cruse?

im guessing its the same as the later Commodores. its shift point it a little higher. bit more rev.

Doesnt affect the engines program at all, only the gearbox.

As per what youve already moted, and what Mikey said it simply raises the shift points in the gearbox program, so it holds gears longer, and shifts back earier, giving the impression of more p
