coil springs v8 or 6 hq are they all the same?

Hi jim here, coil springs v8 or 6cyl hq ,are they all the same ? Ive looked on here for an answer but couldnt find one..just went to the kingspring web site and they are different apparently? Jim in adelaide Edited by user Tuesday, 4 November 2008 1:11:47 AM(UTC)

different. put a V8 in a HQ which was 6cyl, and it lowers it just nicely. HQ 6 cyl smaller guage to V8 AFAIK Later springs in 6 cyl HX RTS upward had thicker guage than HQ for 6 cyl i think too, which was same guage as v8.

Thanxz Adam,i found some NEW springs at upullit wreckers but they are on a 6CYL..dam an they are kingsprings i reckon, problem is about 90% of people that fit these lower them which = 6cyl springs and lowered..(too low) cheers.... ps QR5 engine on ebay . |
