Hi there, I currently have a 253 with a 3 speed column. Will the floor mounted four speed boxes fit(ignoring tunnel mods and removing current link set up) without much hassle as in a new bellhousing and that is about it? Or with the clutch I have now need to go to match the new 4 speed box? As pretty new to this i have been reading about M20 and M21 what box is the 3 speed i currently have? cheers.

If it is the aussie 4-speed box will go straight in, in place of the 3-speed. Same mount, same clutch & bellhousing, same speedo cable & tailshaft, same everything, just cut the

I've done this swap in a HZ 253 3speed sdn, Stright swap just cut the holl in the floor in the right spot. Also you can remove the steering wheel and all the sharfts can be removed as well. Rare spares have the replacement plastic cowl so you can get rid
