Having my banjo diff rebuilt at the moment
Can someone please advise as to the original ratio for a Feb 1970 HT 80837 GTS 253 Monaro? I have conflicting information on wether it should be 2.78 or 3.08 ratio.
From what I understand all 80837 powerglides had a Banjo LSD with a 2.78 ratio and the 3.08 ratio was a factory option, is this correct?
Please help

HT GTS with 253 got the banjo, 308 examples had the 10-bolt. 2.78:1 is standard diff for the HT GTS 253 auto. 3.08:1 is the performance optional ratio. From memory LSD is optional, not standard with both ratios with 253.
