hi all... looking to convert my vl 3 litre auto to a 5 spd manual, wondering whats involved and how much it will cost??

I have seen 5 speed conversions in the trading post for ~$500 obviously you need the box, flywheel (with bolts), clutch, pedals & hydraulics or cable (I forget what VL's had). You may have to change your ECU to a manual one too.

You can use your auto computer. The only difference is that the car will run very slightly richer.
You (may) have to do a slight wiring change....some VL's work without the change, while others don't.
