Not necessarily. But this plate was fitted to an HQ GTS/4 once upon a time.

This tag has obviously been of the car. Also his chassi numbers are different to his compliance plate numbers as i saw this one on ebay and i am following it. I think a inspection is needed to confirm its id if you are thinking of bidding .

There is nothing wrong with the ID plate itself. As Dr. Terry has said, it was once fitted to an HQ GTS 4-door built at the Dandenong assembly plant. If you provide the number J413503 to Holden Customer Support, they will be able to reveal all

How can this plate tell u its a GTS/4 when the trim code does that, and its not referred to here ?

How far back does the Holden Customer Support go? As i have an 6/70 HG 350 GTS Auto and I would like to know a bit more about it, i.e. the dealer etc.
Also i have a vinyl roof but there is no mention on the tags. Was this optioned at th

The first Q in the vin (8Q69....) means its a Monaro. The trim code is mainly used to identify the early four doors that used the Kingswood 8N69 code.

I suspected as much as I spoke to Rob Alford at GM about tracking down info on my EH Holdens as well and he informed me that he was probably the one responsible for destroying the microfiche when he was a cadet at Holden.

Apologies for missing that aspect of your post. If the car was built at either the Brisbane or Melbourne plant then it will have details in the TOP section of the Body ID plate. If it came from either the Adelaide or Sydney plant then there

Monaro202, you could be right but both my 10/74 HJ and my mates 9/74 HQ both have the standard rivets. The holes in the tags are a bit smaller too.
