I was wondering how i go about getting my cars history and also my old man has a 38 Chevy, Would getting ITS history be differant again??

depending on what info your after, If your looking for previous owners the rego branch will not give out personal info.
If you want paint codes etc maybe try an early chev club they should be clued up on that stuff.
You don`t say what car you own.

oh sorry, i own a WB Panel Van. I just wanted all the info on my car i could get my hands on for both the cars.

being a WB GM-H have no info, rego department wont give info, you are behind the 8 ball unfortnately.

Bangers, If you live in Victoria then the AOMC will have what you want. You need the engine number of the car you are doing the search on. There is a small fee for the service but you will be amazed at what comes back.

we can give you the details from your id tag, paint , trim ,driveline etc just put the numbers from your ID tags on this thread.
