HI all. Could someone advise me on the following. I had the tranny rebuilt in my HQ (trimatic)about 4 years ago. The car is used for shows and family outings, and has only covered 11,000 km since. At next service should I change tranny fluid or not worry? I change the brake fluid every 2 years but not sure about the auto

Thanks for any advice

Have a look at the fluid. If it's still clean, don't bother changing it. I had our tri rebuilt about 8 years ago behing the HG 308 and it's done over 100K with some pretty hard driving. It's still got the original fluid and performing beautifully.

If you look at it from a new car point of veiw , the manual for my VS says that the 1st g/service is at 80,000klm`s. or approx 4 years given average klm`s travelled , check the oil and if its still has good colour and runs fine it probably is.
