hi i have a 1998 4 cyl auto that thinks it is a manual and will not change gears automaticly i have taken the car to a transmission mechanic
and at a cost of $400 had a solanoid replaced that fixed nothing. now they tell me that it could be a wiring problem.
if any body has any ideas it would be greatly apresiated

take it back tell them you want it fixed or your money back,they should of done some more fault finding befor they replaced a solenoid e.g problem could be solenoid,wiring, computer.
they have just replaced the easyest thing. they should have diagnosed i
