Hi Guys,

Have a bit of a strange one for you.

The electric seats in my VZ Calais are playing up. They only move forward, not back and the tilt doesnt work at all. I have reset the battery thinking it was something to do with the computer, abd it started moving backwards and forwards, still no tilt, but since has stopped going backwards again.

Don't know if this is coincidence or what but it has only started happening when the battery went completely dead. One of the kids left the cabin light on and killed the battery. Have since charged it and not had a problem with it except for this seat issue.

Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

There would be 2 things Id target. A loose connection behind the switch bank, or the switch contacts themselves.

Does it still move fine if you select the various memory positions?

Cheers,

Mick

No.

It doesnt move at all for the memory positions. When I reset the battery, I reset the seat positions for the 2 different keys, but doesnt matter which key you use, it stays in the same position.
