If you want reliability then go with the VN or VP but i would personally go with a VK with a v6 in it

VP is a huge improvement over the VN. And unless youre after a VK for sentimental reasons, its not worth stuffing about with an old leaded engine.
I have to agree with the post above though, a VP V6 in a VK is a sweet car.

Id go for a VN or VP SS or V8 Calais or VQ V8 Statesman. Example: http://www.carsales.com....&Cr=4&__N=4294965857%200 |

Id go VP for the motor, but the VK is a nicer looking car. Either way there very second rated to what Mercedes or Volvo were making at similar age, and these are also quite cheap now.

If budget allows look out for a VR Calais. Or for something even more luxurious you can pick up a V6 VS statesman for $3g and under.
