Hi guys, I am still sort of new around here, so thought an intro might be in order. I live in central western n.s.w .I am a floorsander polisher and work for myself, my current car is a 1948 Vauxhall. I am in the middle of having my new engine built for it. A mate of mine is screwing it togeather for me. It all started out with the purchase of a cheap M90 for $600 when a mate of mine removed it from his rod, he has now fitted a larger version.the head is now in the machine shop at superflow heads in sydney being sorted out. at present the engine owes me arround $6,500 to $7000. for parts and machine work that has been done.as i said my mate is screwing it togeather so I havent had to fork out dollars for any labour. I still need to buy an msd igntion system and coil for it so my idea of a cheap supercharged 202 has turned out to be quite expensive from what I first thought lol. anyway I will keep you up to date as the project progresses. I am hoping to be back on the road before the goulbourne street rod nats at easter. cheers barnsey few pics and info here http://www.ozrodders.com...d/viewtopic.php?t=21339

I had plans to prep and paint the chassis this weekend, but have been served up some very ordinary weather, spooks old body is just something to play around with, I have a spare chassis and would like to try my hand at chopping the body up a little or a lot I was always going to chop the top on the red one ,but never had the time, or know how to do it, but having a spare body to play with will give me a chance to try out a few mods that i always wanted. I have decided to paint my chassis in black enamel with a hardner, seeing its under the car and not out in full veiw, plus the roads out here in the country are a little to rougth as well. cheers barnsey
