Hi Guys I will confess I am a long time holden driver and I am now making the switch. Okay I am looking at a 2005 bf xr6 I found one today and just want to know what u guys honestly think.

done 111000
dealer wants 15800 for it and doesnt realy want to budge I want to get him to 15500
I took it for a drive and I loved it they handle very nice and felt like it had a fair amount of power
I just want to know is that a fair enough price is there anything major to look out for with these any info please would be great as I am going back tomorrow morning I need to make a decision thanks
only thing I could find wrong was a few chips here and the on the bonnet and front and the motor was a bit ticky anyway any info will be perfect thanks

The BF XR6 is a bloody nice car. The weakest part is the gearbox if it's the 4 speed auto. I'd get that checked to be on the safe side. If it's one of the 6 speed autos (doubtful at that price ) I've heard nothing but praise for those German boxes. Wa

Thanks paul I have got him now down to 15200 with my trade I am taking it to racq for a full inspection monday to see what they say the price is great so depending on what happens monday I will let you know Thanks for your advice.

Okay I got the car checked out and every thing checked out ok found only one prob and that is that the battery was a little low so I am going to buy it ended up getting it for 15000

Dan, I think you got a bit of a deal there for that price. Any other factory extras come with the car? Premium sound? Reverse sensor? Stability control? If you got any of those things it's all extra cream.

LOL. You gotta love a salesman that doesn't know his cars. That big screen in your dash? If you have a stacker system in the dash then you got the premium sound package thrown in. have a look and see if there is a reverse sensor. You've done extremel

I aint sure about the premo sound I will check next week when I pick it up it only had what appeared to be the standard cd player in the centre dash but I will let you know.

they used the big screen for the optional reverse camera too. you probably seen it on TV with the Territory adds. Either way it doesn't really matter. you still got a lot of car for not that much money. ;)

Okay I goy the car today it drives great. Drives so much better than the commodore and yes it does have the 6 cd stacker and premo sound so I got a good deal in the end thanks everyone for your advice much appreciated
