The only problem with the theory is that these cars are HSV not Holden.

If Holden used the GTS logo on the new Moanro and then when it neared the end of its run replaced the SS sedan with GTS sedan, that would be interesting.

I find it hard to beleive that Holden sold GTS as Ferrari and Dodge used it before Holden. What about nissan Skylines????

I think this was a story going around in early 2000 as to why Holden would not use GTS. had Holden wanted to use GTS they could ha

Petaus, HSV is listed as a seperate manufacturer, so are you happy with a Toyota Lexcen being a Commodore and recognised as a Holden? (it is built byHolden and all badges etc are placed on it by Holden, HSV modifies the car)

This also goes for the Appo

Better still, would you call a Lexus a Toyota? Thats what the earlier cars really were, basically the same sort of link as HSV and Holden.

Its all relative,
Shelby did the same with Ford products, and Callaway did the same with GM Corvette. Refine, enhance, performance.

I agree with you for the common body/engine stuff like the idea that a Landcruiser is better because it has a Lexus badge. But cars like the VT/VX GTS and the W427, those are more than a Holden.
