Toyota blower will be simpler and easier/ cheaper. They are different ways of force inducting. A search will explain all of the main differences. Here is a kit available http://www.rodshop.com.a..._kits/supercharger_2.htmThis is my |

TURBOs use wasted energy(exhaust pressure) to make boost!
SUPERCHARGERS use engine power(takes HP to run) to make boost!
If I were going down this road,I would take the TURBO route every time!!!
POWER is like a woman you want to stay in bed w

To avoid lag use 2 slightly smaller turbos, 1 for each bank of 3.

turbo =street ,blower = drags, remmember you have to drive what you build.if you build a big pig motor thats what you have to put up with in traffic too..ps luv the eh too! Jim in adelaide Edited by user Thursday, 22 January 2009 8:24:14 AM(UTC)

I wouldnt necessarily say turbo =street ,blower = drags. A Blower motor built right is as sedate as a stock motor. My 202 idles at 700rpm as quiet as a stock engine, but can do a couple of tyres to shreds at 3000rpm. It is all about torque. |

Yeah , built right but so is a turbo?Im not saying turbos are better ,in fact I prefer blowers they are way more Impressive, but you can get the same out of both.Blowers are more direct, but turbos are probably cheaper to buy an run, looking at your EH cost |

Cam is the biggest key in the whole thing. Too many people overlook the cam. I had a custom grind as it had to have specific characteristics.
Blower low idle smooth low rpm torque LPG

if you want to tow a caravan, use a belt driven blower, more linear torque delivery, more predictable engine behaviour, and less maintenance.
If you want something thats more of a "fun" driver, personally id go single turbo, theres millions available f

i got a plan?? i will probably never get to this.. [too many other inventions] but>>
1,set up a small air compressor that compresses when backing off, and braking, small tank,, 2, run this air through exhaust, up to carby /intake etc, air |

why do you want to heat the air - ie what are you going to do with it? do you mean you want to use this heated air as intake air? this is the exact opposite of what you want to do.
the most efficient engine is a Carnot engine, ie no other engine can be

hey bears air,, i think what your saying is, compressing the air is good?? but preheating it isnt?? so it needs to go from compressed cold in bore? and expand completely in expansion cycle?? i see,, was just trying to use braking, b |

yes compressed air is good. all a supercharger or turbo is is an air compressor. by compressing the air you get more molecules of air into the cylinder. more air molecules means you can burn more fuel molecules. the more fuel you burn in a cycle the more
