Im wanting to put a 6 litre fuel injected engine with the matching six speed manual tranmission and gearbox into a HZ wagon. What sort of 9" diff should i look at getting. I've heard ford 9" are indestructable. My dad has a spare salisbury that has 3.08 gears which was powered by a 355 stroker in a VK commodore. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
Cheers.

Im sticking an 5lt stroked efi in my van but with a 5 speed tremec. I have heard and dont quote me, but a t56 is a bit of work fitting in the tunnel as it is longer. Good luck

Would the tremec fit the LS2? Or would it be better in the LS1?
Cheers

Not sure. I would expect they could have a bell housing to suit most engines as it is a common G/Box. I was sticking a T5 into mine , but saw a couple of boxes that where wrecked because they did not like the horsepower. A T5 will fit with a slight tunn
