Hi guys, I have just bought an XA fuel tank off ebay (from my XP Falc)and its sitting in my uncles garage on the Gold Coast. Does anybody know of a cheap way to get it down here? From postcode 4220 to 2126. I can get the tank dropped off anywhere from Brisbane to Tweed Heads to make it easier and I am willing to pick it up from anywhere on the north side of Sydney.

Thanks

Jake the problem that you have may be that it becomes dangerous goods because it has contained fuel.

Rail/bus freight might be the cheapest but the freight might cost you more than picking up the same type of tank in Sydney due to it's sheer size.

Thanks: 1 times
Jake,
have you checked to see if the XA tank will fit in the XP? I got
a funny feeling it won't.

Yes The XA tank is way bigger but I just presumed that Jake was planning on cutting a very large hole in his boot floor to fit the XA tank.

If at firs

If transporting it just tell them it is a water tank for a boat. Make sure it is clean of fuel and fumes

Hi Guys,

Thanks snappa for the water tank advice - will be sure to use that one! My uncle has already wrapped in plenty of cardboard so I am I'll get away with that it. As for the size - yes it is a monster but that is because the XA tank has a recess
