Hi have just bought a 1970 gt capri, with a 302w, it also came with a spare v6 engine, the owner believes this is the original one it came out with, how can I check.
I cant locate an engine number on the chasis or body plates.

The body number should be CK17****** if it was a genuine V6 I have been told. Most (4 cyl) Capri's it was CK14*****

The "CK" number on the body should be stamped on the engine somewhere.
