Hi guys,

Looking for some aftermarket air conditioning units to install in my HK ute, running a 350 chev. Most likely just an under dash unit, not much space in the ute.

Am I correct in saying these units are supplied with a pulley for the engine, which they operate off? If so, I was looking at a new pulley kit for my engine and would like to find this out before purchasing.

So if anyone has any tips for installation and/or preferred units for a ute, please let me know.

Cheers

As far as im aware, the hot rodders are the ones you need to ask. I think theres a setup by Vintage Air thats quite popular, if thats what it was called?

Underdash evaporators are still available new. Various sizes. Try your local A/C specialist or Auto Elec. They are reasonably priced. I think you should be able to get a `mount and drive kit` (compressor mount bracket/hardware/pulley/belt) from a Chev aft
