Hi all,

Got a 4bbl inlet manifold on my 308 Torana. It has the part number 9929853 cast on it and I would very much like to know which model car it would have originally come from. Thanks very much for any help.

Cheers,

Paul E

Thanks for looking Mick. It's still a mystery to me! It is a pre-pollution manifold (no-EGR) is a genuine GMH and has a smooth cast floor (not ribbed). Hopefully this further info can help refresh somebody's memory?

Cheers,

9929854 is the number for an LH or HJ 308. Id say either youve read it wrong or there is a mistake in the casting number. But you never know.

Thanks Byron. The number definitely ends in a "3" and is correct as 9929853. I am aware that 9929854 is off LH, LX and HJ-HZ. I just can't find any record of 9929853 and my local dealer is unfortunately unwilling to help. Does anybody know if th

I think they have smooth runners. Ill check the pre pollution manifolds I have in the shed this weekend and see if they are the same. Sometimes casting numbers are different to part numbers. This is common.
