When did the Ist HK Holden roll down the assembly line and at which plant was that? When were they 1st released on to the market and where at and what was it? and when did the last one roll off the assembly line and where was that? and what was it 6 or 8, kingswood, belmont, premier or other ?. What was its id, chassis, vin, body numbers, colours etc and where is it now?....Thank you all Interested enthusiast.

I cant help with any details of the exact details of the first production HK, but the media release was dated 28th January 1968 & they appeared in the showrooms the next day. I doubt anything other than prototypes were made in 1967. My guess is full produ

My Father & myself are restoring a 68 HK Monaro.(80737-42095 M) When he got it about 7 years ago,it had had no motor or transmission,..we think that it was a 186s! In the meantime he has sourced a 327 and a saginaw gear box in good condition.(the car is a
