Hi all,

For those fortunate/unfortunate to own a VX CALAIS with all those warning lights there is ONE sequence of RED ALARMS thats not in the USER MANUAL. The alarm tells you, there is a rear light bulb blown associated with parkers or brake lights. They give u a nice sequence of tests to go with it too !

In simple terms, with lights off, the LAMP light does not illuminate at all. (so logically the manual is wrong)
With the lights on, it does light up. It will NOT illuminate when u brake, but will illuminate at other times - like 98% of the time at night. Darn annoying.

What the manual neglects to mention is that the stupid computer ALSO checks the licence plate lamp (2 of em). If one goes, you get the alarm.

Replace both lamps and keep away from speed humps. It triggers the alarm too.

Cheers John
