reading the xb-zg service manual and in genral specs of the engines came accross taxable hp of 52.2 what does this mean?

The loss of horsepower from the flywheel to the tyres. I think it goes up to 100 horse power loss from 351 and fmx after turning through transmission , tail shaft , diff and the wheels. So if your motor is 300 hp you would only get 200 at the wheels as i

taxable horsepower is an old calculation using the bore size and nuber of cylinders. it was used and might still be used in europe to calculate car tax
