To the best of my knowledge they were going to carry on but never did. Even in the WB Service Supplement Book lists the Sandman with engine/ g-box/ diff/ wheel, drive line. Seen a few WB Vans with all the stuff in them. Dr Terry may add light to this topi

i thought holden made 1 proto type. it was yukkie orange with the square light front colout codes bumpers like the magnum and then big ugly WB Gemini mirrors and SL/E wheels

They probably did, but it most likely was a clay model. WA and WB were well designed before Sandmans ceased.
