Would anybody with a push button AM "GM Air Chief" radio from a HD/HR know how to replace the dial light bulb (which lights up the tuning dial at night). Even to advise where it's located would really help.

Any advice much appreciated.

If its the same sort of lamp in the HQ's, like a small glass bulb with two parallel leads, Dick Smith sells them. If the lamp has a special colour like blue or green, you buy some TAMIYA clear red/gree/blue paint from a Model/Toy shop and away ya go.
