Hi can anyone tell me if the Mustang block they put in The Xt v8 had the same part number here and in the states.
Here is a mustang part number from the states
Ford mustang eng part number 1968/69 model is C80E C015A
does this look familiar to anyone who has a late 60's windsor 302.
I am trying to find the number on my factory v8 wagon.

These American blocks allegedly have no engine number so if you have an original XR XT XW GT (as the XW had the 351w didn't they)
So if the part number is the same
How do you know its matching numbers and not a restamped block.
As this would look factory and nothing would show up irregular on an X-ray as it had never been stamped previously.
Just a discussion i was having with a mate and i thought i would post it on here.

Hi Dane,
don't quote me but I think the US windsor motors were stamped on the back of the block just below the heads, drivers side.

I was once told the Army used cleveland blocks as counterweights when moving heavy loads such as tanks and transporters. The guy that told me this was an ex master seargant. The blocks were new and unstamped.

Another mate of mine worked at Broadmea
