Im looking at buying a toy, but want something newish and was thinking about a modern monaro
which colour/engine/transmission combinations would look like being the most desirable? whenever i buy anything, i usually take into account it's "sellability" in the future
any ideas on what to look out for? price guidelines would be helpful as well

V8 manual - no ifs & no buts!
Id be looking at something like a CV8-R or the last of the CV8-Z if you want something collectible
Hero colours (like the Devil Yellow & Hothouse Green on the early ones, or the Orange on the CV8-Z) will possibly hold a |

I would also look at the cv8-z bonnet suits all the models and is a desirable monaro part.

I did the same thing just before Christmas although I didnt want too spend much over my budget of $25,000.
After looking at half a dozen prospective purchases I decided to buy a 2001 CV8 that was a one owner fitted with HSV 18" GTO wheels.
