Hey folks,
I've got an HZ sedan with a 308 which doesn't overheat but runs a bit warmer than I'd like when stuck in traffic, we all know that problem! In an early experiment the original fan was removed and a 14" electric thermo fan fitted on the inside of the radiator (no room for both). Didn't really improve other than you can leave it running for a few minutes to cool the engine down after switching the engine off. It also has an extra oil cooler in front of the radiator and with the design of the bonnet catch it doesn't leave any room for an additional front mounted fan, possibly a 10" but would require a lot of stuffing around to install and I'm not sure it would do the job anyway. Does anyone have any other ideas for extra cooling, perhaps one of the thinner flexi-fans fitted in place of the normal standard wide bladed originals? Just didn't want to lash out on an extra 10" fan and find it was a waste of money and effort!
thanks for any advice
Ben
