G'day fellas, i'm chasing a shadowtone factory 5.0 VH SL/E. Prefer fully optioned Cabernet/Silver with burgundy interior. I know it's a long shot but thought i'd give it a try. Will pay top money for right car.
Cheers, Glenn.

Wish we knew even 5 years ago people would want these. Ive seen heaps wrecked just for the motor and box with the rest going to the crushers. If I see one ill PM you. I remember looking at one brand new! It was a 202 auto though.

Glenn,
Ive been looking for a 5.0L VH SL/E for the last 5 years, but blue/silver with the blue interior. Theyre a great looking car, and fully optioned is even better! There have been a few 4.2L examples pop up from time to time, but a low km 5.0L SL/E i

Are you looking for a factory original one Rhys?

I will have a Blue/silver with blue interior rolling shell when I remove the 355 and 5 speed, but I think it might have been a factory 4.2. I've never looked at the plates as I only got the car for the

The Burgundy interior is called Claret and has a 79# prefix on the trim code, good luck with your search. I have a 253 Trimatic Torquay Sand SL/E with the velour Claret trim. I dont think the Claret is as popular as Blue so it might be hard to get one.

You only have to be in front at the end of the race.

Playwme,
Yes I was really after a factory 5.0L, low km, never been butchered, ie big stereo etc. Probably a long shot, but there would have to be some around. Thanks for mentioning yours though. I would also consider a green/silver one if it came up. If

I wasnt looking to sell, just mentioning the paint trim combo of my car for reference, to get exactly what you want may mean buying 2 cars or repainting trim.
