i want to flush my radiator and cooling system after a bit of an engine freshen up
ive used nulon, not the greatest stuff in the world, anyone used anything that works REALLY well ?

pay the 80 dollars and get the rad man to do it.
Then, go and get the "tonito" top hose filter to stop crap clagging it up in a weeks time.
after a month im still catching half a teaspoon every few days of tube blocking, radiator killing crap.

its more the scale in the block and heater core that i want to clean out
and i got hold of a tonito radiator filter about a year ago. it caught heaps of sh!t

A few tablespoons of dishwashing machine powder works well as its designed to work better once it heats up. Cheap too! But dont leave it in for more than a day or two as it might eat your radiator hoses. ------------------------------------- Edited by user Friday, 27 February 2009 12:16:49 AM(UTC)

Its actually a Tefba cooling system filter made and marketed by Frank Tonitto <SP?> Motors. You cut your top radiator hose in half and fit it to that. They work really well. http://www.mako.com.au/html/tefba_filter.html------------------ |

most radiator shops can get them in, i bought mine local, it just took a week to get here.
I cannot recommend this enough, there really is no other way to catch the crap coming out of the engine, even a freshly tanked block will have some crap inside i
