hello all
I am a new member, i have been browsing this forum for a while now and find it quite helpful and informative, i have a ht ute with a 307 / pglide ,i am going to put a saginaw gearbox into it and i was wondering if any one could tell me which side the clutch slave cylinder should be on to be correct(the bellhousing i have is for left side), also how and where does the slave cylinder attach to the bell housing??? maybe some one could help out with a pic??

All 307 4spd had a RH fork bellhousing. Only HT and HG 350 4spd used a LH fork bellhousing, and I remember reading some very late HK 327 4spd as well.
The slave cylinder sits on a bracket which bolts to the bellhousing. It is different for left a

my ute has a factory t/bar so it already has the floor mount will i still need to modify the tunnel? do you know if ht 350 ran a 10.5" flywheel or were they 11"? ,,,regards dave

Tunnel still needs to be modified. HT had an 11" flywheel. Factory T-bar in a ute is pretty rare. Was it originally a 307? I wouldnt butcher the floor if it was. A 307 Powerglide HK ute is a pretty rare and valuable thing. Youd probably be better off chan

it is an 80480 and body no is in the low 300s, it had no engine or g/box when i got it,but the ute had chev type power steer on it(bent type draglink)and i believe the floor mount is original,maybe it was holden v8 originally, i dont know how to find out,

If by body number you mean on the BODY plate, 300 for a V8 Kingswood ute isnt that low if its a Pagewoode or Elizabeth built ute. If you mean low 300s in chassis number then yes its low. If it is early and it hasnt got a Saginaw hump but it does have the

i think it is no: 319 h5 on the body plate, does not have hump for salisbury,it had a 2.78 lsd banjo in it with a v8 flange, i will check the floor mount from underneath when i remove the g/box it looked original from the top and the floor has the proper

Send me the VIN or Chassis and I should be able to tell you if its pre 308 or not. If its after the 307 ceased it is possible it could be a 253 or 308 glide or trimatic, 253 3spd or also 307 glide. I should also be able to tell you by the engine n
