Can someone tell me the width of a VC-VL diff and of a VN-VS diff. I know i have asked before. But I have lost my files containing the info. Thanks.

I dont have the widths from face-to-face.
I can tell you that a VL diff is 11mm wider than a VB-VK, and when VN came out, it was 52mm wider than VB-VK (there are some variants in the later ones too that saw some increases).

The face-to-face widths that I have measured off real cars go like this:-
VB-VK sedan (GM-H diff) 1506 mm with discs & 1500 mm with drums VB-VK wagon (GM-H diff) 1530 mm with discs & 1524 mm with drums VK-VL (BW diff) 1521 mm with discs & 1515 with d |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Is the VL diff 11 mm wider than an VB-early VK only, or is it also wider than the late VKs with the Borg warner? As Dr Terry has the VB-VK sedan at 1506mm and the VK-VL Borg Warner at 1521mm(15mm wider). Thanks guys.
