No. Its from a Holden assembled Impala or Parisienne. Few hundred numbers too early for an Acacia GTS327 too.

Looking at it again it may possibly also be a made up number. That is someone finds a US sourced 660 cast Tonnawanda block, finds 30700421. Then puts 2 and 2 together and gets 5.

I forwarded this on to the Guru and its a genuine original Holden stamped number out of a pre Monaro Chevrolet assembled in Acacia Ridge.

They wouldnt be the only one. Ive seen heaps of these sold and bought for that purpose. Thats one of the reasons for my website.

I told the guy it would be a late 66 early 67 cast block for a 67 Aussie Delivered Pontiac or Chev at the start of the auction , but he only posts the questions about freight not my answer .

It was installed in a Chev assembled at Acacia between 1/1/68 and 1/7/68. Probably around April as Monaro started around 01200.

My HK327 with original engine has a cast date of April 68. The build date for the car is Sept 68.
