hi all, i am trying to find out some info about converting a hg to rack and pinion steering. i understand that there a few options around and would like to know the pros and con's of this conversion

Ignore the tool he talks alot of cr@p.

But can be helpful sometimes :)

If you can get your hands on a october 08 (I think) street machine there is a rack and pinion conversion workguide which shows it being done on a HR front crossmembe

Gday Anton, a couple of years ago i looked at doing R+P in the HK and id heard the R+P conversions have bump stop (?) issues but i really dont know whats meant by that nor if restricted to a certain kit or across the board.
