Does anyone know if the powersteering pumps on the 202 and 308 are the same on the VH commodore? Have converted mine from 6 to 8 and want to know if i can use the old pump. It seems to fit the bracket.

it will fit and work but it wont last when changing over its better to get either new or recond parts for the right engine so in utha words mate dont use it get a pump for aa v8....

Yes, the pumps are near identical.


The only difference is the location of the mounting stud on the rear of the reservoir. The 202 has the stud in the lower hole & a plain bolt in upper. The V8 requires the stud in the upper hole.


Just swap
