Hey crew, I just picked up an air con unit from a Fairlane (comparable model) for my 250 XB and was wondering if I need to use a six cylinder a/c bracket from an xa or xb, or if I can bolt on one from a later model (XD,E,F)? The unit came out of an eight and despite the love I have for engine conversions, that aint gonna happen. Also if I need an XA,B 6 cyl bracket, where would I get one
Cheers
PM

I'm trying for ya PM. A mate in Horsham has about a dozen old Fords behind his shed but isn't answering his phone. I'll try him again in an hour. Long shot is that i "might" have one in a pile of old falcon bits except i've no idea what it looks like.

Thanks mate. I am not sure what they look like either as all the cars I have seen with ac are 8's. There must be one around. I will look for an image for you. Really appreciate the effort. Thanks Porchy
