Got a 5.7 Gen 111 Monaro and have fitted a twin exhaust to it and am thinking of a high flow air cleaner to try to improve the performance. Does the performance really improve or is it just a myth?

Mmmmm, if you mean a pod filter then that sits under the bonnet and sucks hot air, personally I would go for a good after market cold air induction. Pods look sweet but you carnt beat nice cold air.

lol, nothing wron with hot air!! Nah seriously, get your self a good cold air kit, SS inductions make pretty decent ones but a bit pricey, and throw in a K&N filter.

I saw in a motor mag the monaro/pontiac GTO with RAM AIR which had wide slots toward the rear of the bonnet, under the bonnet directly under the scoops were airfilters channelled to the intake , now thats serious induction (Ram air) If your rich enough ge
