Hi fellas,

I know it's a long shot but if you don't ask you don't get.........

What I am looking for is anyone who would be willing to swap a reasonable to good set of HZ front panels (guards, bonnet, nosecone and rad support) for a good set of commercial panels in the Sydney area. Single headlight, dual headlight, doesn't really matter.

Some pics of the commercial front below;

Front

Guards

There is a normal amount of rust in the bottom of the right guard, the left one is pretty good and no dents in them. The nosecone has been roughly bogged up where I removed the H O L D E N badges and has two small slots cut into the top edge of the bottom of the radiator opening to allow the fitment of the HZ bumper (bumper not included). The radiator support looks like it has a bit of rust towards the bottom but would easily be repairable.

The underside of the bonnet has surface rust on the leading edge but is straight with no dents;

To sweeten the deal I may be convinced to include any (possibly all) of the following;

New Rare Spares cowel panel to suit HQ or commercial fronted tonner

Trimatic and converter to suit 253 or 308. Apparently this box was reconditioned not long before I picked it up of Evilbay 18 months or so ago. Haven't needed to use it as mine has refused to give up the ghost.

The cab currently on the ute is rusty. Has rust in the sills, cowl and plenum, above the doors, and at the bottom rear on either side, as well as the floors. When I am finished it will be bare apart from the front and rear screens, brake pedal, and possibly the steering column.

The front end etc would be read to go in about 3 weeks (say end of April). Just need to get the old girl through rego again, then off the road she comes.

On the off chance anyone is interested, my email is [email protected] I am in the Campbelltown area, so local to here would be good as the parts would need to be picked up.

Cheers

Kev
